Why beeing a contemporary artist?

This question is not very important. Art is at least a place to show your own missings, psychological needs or something like this. Knowing about the personal reasons of a painter or any other artist means nothing. The question is, which kind and quality of art does he produce. Does he have any vision, any demand? Is he able to find the right questions? Can he work it out to shake the observers? Is he a political one – or does he only produce room decoration, pattern, embellishment? An artist should have a silent kind of fury in his stomach. It´s dangerous to discover new art dimensions without this adrenalin filled feeling. You will miss any target on days without this power. On these days an artist should clean his studio, freshen the paintbrushes and meet his friends. Do not forget: an artist is a cultural one as any other too. You are embedded in this zone of togetherness, with or without your will. So art can be used as connection between people, peoples, individuals. In a way art is the matrix between human beeings. It is is the room in which we act and react. The special important step of contemporary art is, to create and improve that room – by the meanings of discribing the present and laughing about the future.

But if ya really wanna know more, here it is: born 1970 in Germany, studies of law in Heidelberg. Collection of life experience and art themes in: advertising, head hunting and international truck driving. Finally leaving all that business in 2007 to be a fulltime artist.
